Yoon in Ulsan: "Democratic Party is a business community sharing outdated leftist revolutionary theories" Fierce Criticism
Yoon on Allegations Surrounding Him: "They Are All Lies, Do Not Believe Them"
[Asia Economy reporters Ki-min Lee and Hyun-ji Kwon] On the 19th, Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, launched a fierce attack, saying, "If you have observed the behavior of the Democratic Party government over the past five years, you would know that it is a business community of people who share outdated leftist revolutionary theories from 40 to 50 years ago."
On the same day, during a campaign held in front of Lotte Department Store in Ulsan in the morning, Yoon said, "They gather among themselves, keep secrets, divide interests, and continuously maintain power?that is the true nature of the Democratic Party," appealing for support.
He continued, "The Democratic Party produces a large number of political professionals as their core supporters who repeatedly spread false propaganda, thinking only about maintaining their rule and power for 20 or 50 years, with no regard for the people," and added, "For the Democratic Party, the people only appear during elections to extend their rule, and they only make promises as if giving gifts with the people's hard-earned taxes," belittling them.
He further stated, "Every day, they use their phones to post comments, attack opponents personally, and people with weak hearts cannot fight against the Democratic Party. They destroy a person's character and make them look like fools," and laughed, saying, "People like me, who are insensitive and tough, are unfazed even if millions of Democratic Party members come at me."
Regarding recent allegations of involvement with shamanism and collusion with Sambutogeon, he said, "Do not believe what the core supporters of the Democratic Party, such as the comment squads, say. It is all lies. The essence of propaganda is to trap people in the same frame and repeat it," and disparaged, "They write the same articles over and over again; these are pro-Democratic Party media."
Regarding the Daejang-dong development scandal, he said, "Although Ulsan is far away, the rotten smell reaches here. Kim Man-bae did not eat it all alone. There must be many accomplices," continuing his attacks on Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On inter-Korean relations, he criticized the Democratic Party, saying, "There are 40 divisions deployed along the Demilitarized Zone, thousands of missiles, multiple rocket launchers, and long-range artillery deployed, and economic and people-to-people exchanges are not properly conducted. These things must be smoothly carried out to declare an end to the war."
Regarding renewable energy, he said, "Our country had established the world's best nuclear power ecosystem, but it was all destroyed. Ulsan's industry relies not only on nuclear power but also on cheap electricity as the foundation of its competitiveness," and criticized, "Why are they building renewable wind power in front of Ulsan's coast despite opposition from fishermen and citizens?"
Regarding the supplementary budget bill passed by the Special Budget and Accounts Committee that day, he said, "They gave 14 trillion won as a populist measure before the election. The People Power Party proposed an additional 35 trillion won. The Democratic Party said they would make a total of 35 trillion and suggested a meeting. Then they barely raised it by 2 trillion won and brought 16 trillion won," emphasizing, "This is not nearly enough to support self-employed and small business owners. If entrusted with the next government, I will promptly provide additional compensation."
