Tesla Recalls 26,000 Vehicles Due to 'Frost Removal Function Issue'
Third Recall This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Sim Nayoung] American electric vehicle company Tesla has decided to recall 26,581 vehicles in the United States due to a software issue related to the front windshield defrosting function.
According to the AP News on the 9th, the recall targets include some Model 3, Model S, and Model X vehicles produced between 2021 and 2022, as well as some Model Y vehicles produced between 2020 and 2022.
If frost is not removed in time, visibility is limited, increasing the risk of accidents. According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the software error in question can degrade the frost removal performance of the front windshield.
