Gimhae City to Implement Same-Day Reservation and Vaccination for 'Novavax' Starting Mid-February

Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 3rd that as soon as Novavax is introduced, it will be possible to receive vaccination on the same day by reservation at 10 designated medical institutions, including local public health centers.
The 10 designated medical institutions are Gangil Hospital, Joeun Geumgang Hospital, Kyunghee Central Hospital, Gimhae Gospel Hospital, Gap-eul Jangyu Hospital, Mega Hospital, MI Hospital, Yulha Kkumnamu Hospital, Samsung Internal Medicine Clinic, and Jinyeong Hospital. From March, it is planned to expand to 108 entrusted medical institutions.

Lee Jong-hak, director of the public health center, said, “The Novavax vaccine follows a traditional vaccine manufacturing method, so it is evaluated to have high safety, which is expected to reduce concerns about vaccine side effects to some extent.
