[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Fintech security company Aton announced on the 28th that it has relocated its headquarters from Sangam-dong, Seoul to Park One Tower in Yeouido, Seoul. The strategy is to grow as a leading fintech security and authentication company by moving to Yeouido, where major financial clients are concentrated.
Aton was founded in 1999 with its main office in Yeouido, focusing on banking services. It experienced the early days of mobile finance and laid the foundation for technology-based growth after relocating to Sangam-dong. After 22 years, Aton has returned to Yeouido, where its original headquarters was located.
When relocating its headquarters, Aton focused on creating a workspace that enhances employee work efficiency and provides an enjoyable working environment. To introduce the space to employees and allow them to experience it in advance, Aton held a headquarters relocation event using the metaverse. About 100 executives and employees had the opportunity to tour Aton’s new office space implemented in the metaverse, experiencing the meaning of each space and the working environment in Yeouido beforehand.
