Gangwon-do to Operate 'Emergency Medical System and Screening Clinics' During Lunar New Year Holiday
962 Clinics and Hospitals, 1041 Pharmacies
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gangwon Province will operate the 'Seol Holiday Emergency Medical System' during the Lunar New Year holiday period (1.29~2.2).
On the 28th, the province announced, "During the holiday period, a total of 2,003 locations will participate in emergency medical care, including 962 health institutions and hospitals/clinics, and 1,041 pharmacies. Additionally, 25 emergency medical institutions and emergency medical facilities within the province will operate emergency rooms 24 hours a day."
The Emergency Medical Situation Room (19 teams, 132 personnel) will be established at provincial, city, and county public health centers, and in case of disaster situations, rapid response teams from public health centers and disaster medical support teams from three disaster base hospitals will be dispatched to provide on-site emergency medical support.
