Lee Jun-seok Visits 'Gwangju Apartment Collapse' Site "Will Support All Efforts"
Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, visited the site on the afternoon of the 25th, the 15th day since the collapse of the newly built apartment in Gwangju. After listening to the stories of the victims' families, he headed toward the collapsed apartment.

Lee arrived at the accident site around 5:15 PM that day and immediately headed to the tent where the victims' families were gathered.
The families said, "The situation inside the building is so severe that we even feel sorry to ask the rescue workers for help," and requested, "We must not cause another casualty due to reckless rescue operations, but please do your best, not thinking this is only a problem in Gwangju."
They continued, "Hyundai Development only provides support when our families keep requesting," and asked, "Please come up to the apartment with us and see the situation."
Afterwards, Lee listened to the rescue workers' explanations with the families, walked up to the 29th floor to check the situation, and then came back down.
Lee said, "I know that all personnel at the site are doing their utmost to carry out rescue activities," and added, "The People Power Party will do whatever efforts it can together with the Gwangju City Party."
