"'Myeolgong' Jeong Yong-jin, What's Up Recently? ... Eating Hamburger Mukbang with Long Hair Flowing"
[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Jung Yong-jin, Vice Chairman of Shinsegae Group, who recently became the center of controversy over his 'Myeolgong' remarks, has now posted photos of himself transformed with long hair on his social media service (SNS).
On the 24th, Vice Chairman Jung posted two photos on his Instagram with the caption "Long Hair YJ (Yong-jin)." He did not provide any additional explanation.
In the photos, Vice Chairman Jung is seen with long hair flowing as he takes a big bite of a hamburger. Another photo shows him with long hair holding his pet dog, 'Silbi.' The pet he is holding passed away in June last year, and Vice Chairman Jung had previously posted photos on Instagram of him holding a funeral for the dog.
Compared to his short hairstyle two weeks ago, this is a sudden transformation. However, upon closer inspection, the first photo appears to show him wearing a 'hairpiece' on his short hair.
Netizens who saw the photos commented, "When did your hair get this long?", "It seems like you are expressing freedom even under oppression," "Is that a wig?", "He looks like a wild man," and "It suits you well."
