AmorePacific to Advance Payment of 76.8 Billion KRW to Partners Ahead of Lunar New Year
Advancing Payment for Transactions with Over 900 Partner Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Amorepacific Group announced on the 20th that it will make early payments of 76.8 billion KRW in transaction funds to its partner companies ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
The payment targets are about 900 partner companies supplying raw materials, containers, and products to eight affiliates of Amorepacific Group. The 76.8 billion KRW in transaction funds, originally scheduled to be paid by February 2, will be paid sequentially starting today.
Kim Seung-hwan, CEO of Amorepacific Group, said, "Ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, we are making payments up to 13 days earlier than the scheduled payment date to help alleviate the financial difficulties of our partner companies who are experiencing many hardships due to COVID-19," adding, "We will continue to pursue mutual growth with our partners through various measures."
