Director Lee graduated from Jeonnam Girls' High School and Seoul National University with a degree in Computational Statistics. She also completed an MBA program at Korea University Business School. She earned a master's degree in Finance from Michigan State University in the United States.
She joined KDIC in July 1996 and has held positions such as Head of the Information Systems Office, Head of the Creative Management Office, Head of the Savings Bank Management Department, and Head of the Human Resources Support Department. She is particularly recognized for contributing to financial restructuring and management innovation through strengthening IT capabilities, reducing debt, resolving savings bank insolvencies, and improving job-based compensation systems.
