SRT Lunar New Year Holiday Ticket Reservations Begin... 74.9% Reservation Rate for Seniors and Disabled
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SR, the operator of SRT (Suseo High-Speed Rail), announced on the 18th that the priority reservation rate for tickets during the Lunar New Year holiday (from the 28th of this month to the 2nd of next month) for senior and disabled customers reached 74.9%.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, only window seats on the SRT will be sold during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
On the first day of reservations, 13,779 out of 18,380 eligible seats were booked. SR allocated 10% of the seats for sale to senior and disabled customers and conducted priority reservations on that day.
The reservation rate increased by 8.8 percentage points compared to last year's Chuseok and by 25.4 percentage points compared to last year's Lunar New Year.
SR will sell all Lunar New Year tickets 100% online without any on-site sales.

SR will sell Lunar New Year tickets for the Gyeongbu Line on the 19th and the Honam Line on the 20th to all customers. Reservations can only be made through the PC and mobile websites.
