View original imageKorea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 18th that it provided holiday food kits made from local agricultural products to residents of permanent rental housing in Sacheon, Gyeongnam, ahead of the Lunar New Year.
On this day, Oh Young-oh, Head of LH's Fair Management Innovation Headquarters, and the headquarters' volunteer group visited the Sacheon Beolli permanent rental housing and personally delivered holiday foods such as rice cake soup, fruits, dried persimmons, and anchovies to 447 households. The event was also joined by the Samcheonpo General Social Welfare Center and the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea to wish the residents a prosperous Lunar New Year.
LH is spreading a culture of sharing for the Lunar New Year not only in the Gyeongnam region but also through 14 regional (special) headquarters nationwide.
Since the 17th, each regional headquarters has been visiting social welfare centers, child centers, multicultural family support centers, and rental housing complexes that are struggling due to reduced help caused by COVID-19, sharing warmth and supporting holiday supplies tailored to each region’s characteristics to wish local residents a warm holiday season.
