IBK and Win-Win Growth Committee Sign MOU to Promote ESG Management Among SMEs
Outstanding Certified Companies by the Win-Win Growth Committee... Loan Interest Rate Reduced by up to 1%p for 3 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 18th that it has signed a business agreement with the Win-Win Growth Committee to support the spread of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management among partner small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Through this agreement, the two organizations will closely cooperate to promote the early establishment of ESG management in large corporations' partner SMEs by providing ▲ support such as ESG-related education and consulting, ▲ financial and non-financial services including loan support and preferential interest rates for outstanding ESG SMEs, and to expand the adoption of ESG among SMEs.
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea plans to offer up to a 1.0 percentage point reduction in loan interest rates for three years to companies certified as excellent by the Win-Win Growth Committee, as well as provide various non-financial services to strengthen ESG capabilities.

An IBK Industrial Bank of Korea official stated, “This business agreement was signed to support the introduction of ESG management and sustainable growth for large corporations' partner SMEs,” adding, “We plan to actively support the early establishment of ESG management among SMEs through this agreement.”
