Naejangsan Baegamsa Office, Sweating to Collect Abandoned Gorosoe Sap Harvesting Tools in the Park
Held Joint Collection Event with National Park Resource Volunteers on the 15th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Baegyangsa Office of Naejangsan National Park under the Korea National Park Service announced on the 17th that on the 15th, it conducted a joint collection of long-abandoned gorosoe sap collection tools in the Yongsugol area of Baegyangsa Temple together with national park volunteer workers.
The event involved about 20 participants, including volunteer workers and park office staff, who collected 1.3 km of hoses used for gorosoe sap collection. The significance was further enhanced by subsequent cleanup activities in the Jinno Yellow Spider Lily Special Protection Area.
The park office completed a full survey of gorosoe sap collection tools inside and outside the permitted areas in December last year, and through a total of nine events including this one, collected 10.7 km of abandoned gorosoe sap collection hoses, 8 collection containers, and 0.3 tons of waste outside the permitted areas.
