Minimal Movement of Personnel Considering the COVID-19 Situation
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 14th that it has appointed Mo Chang-hee, head of the Corporate Restructuring Division, as the new head of the Inter-Korean Cooperation Headquarters.
Mo, the new head, has served as head of the Corporate Restructuring Division, head of the SME and Mid-sized Enterprise Finance Department, and head of the Corporate Improvement Department. He is expected to oversee the Inter-Korean Cooperation Fund operations as the head of the bank's Inter-Korean Cooperation Headquarters going forward.
An official from the bank stated, “The appointment process for this position was transparent and fair, involving an open call for candidates and a reputation check by an external professional institution, comprehensively evaluating the candidates' careers, expertise, and capabilities.”
The bank also carried out its regular personnel reshuffle for the first half of 2022 on the same day. Considering the ongoing COVID-19 situation, personnel movements were kept to a minimum.
