Jeongeup-si Supports Jeonbuk Youth Regional Settlement... Up to 3.6 Million KRW
[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk Province announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2022 Jeonbuk Youth Regional Settlement Support Project (Jeonbuk-type Youth Allowance)’ to support the economic independence and stable settlement of youth.
The ‘Jeonbuk Youth Regional Settlement Support Project’ is a program that supports young people in the early stages of employment by compensating for low wages so that they can settle stably in the region.
If selected as a beneficiary, participants can receive up to 3.6 million KRW over one year, paid monthly at 300,000 KRW in points linked to a credit card (check card).
The support funds can be used in various fields such as health management, self-development, cultural leisure, and general consumption both online and offline. However, offline usage is limited to stores within Jeonbuk Province.
The total number of recruits is 122. The support fields include six areas: agriculture, forestry, fisheries, small and medium enterprises, culture and arts, and research institute enterprises.
Applicants must be youth aged between 18 and 39, have their resident registration in Jeonbuk Province as of the announcement date, and have lived in Jeonbuk for at least one year.
Income criteria require meeting 150% or less of the median household income, and applicants must have at least one year of experience in each respective field.
Applications can be submitted online through the Jeonbuk-type Youth Allowance website or the Jeonbuk Youth Hub Center by the 21st.
A city official stated, “We expect this project to greatly help not only the economic support of youth but also their stable regional settlement and welfare improvement,” adding, “We hope many young people participate and benefit from this opportunity.”
