North Korea Immediately Reacts to US Sanctions: "Strong Response to Confrontational Attitude"

On the same day, North Korea, through a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson via the Korean Central News Agency, said, "The U.S. questioning our legitimate exercise of self-defense rights is clearly a provocation and a robber-like logic."
The spokesperson said, "Strengthening national defense capabilities is the legitimate right of a sovereign state," and "We will not give up our rightful rights fairly and squarely."
