[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 12th, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, conducted an on-site inspection of Yeongdeungpo Traditional Market, which completed an environmental improvement project last December.
The district started the environmental improvement project for Yeongdeungpo Traditional Market in 2019, undertaking a major modernization of facilities by reorganizing central street vendor stalls to secure walkways and renewing arcades and signboards.
Mayor Chaehyunil stated, “The Yeongdeungpo Traditional Market improvement project is the result of continuous communication and coexistence among local residents, merchants, and administration,” adding, “We will do our best to revitalize the traditional market to support merchants facing difficulties due to COVID-19.”
