Jangseong-gun to Recruit Beneficiaries for 'Return-to-Farming and Rural Settlement Support Project' Until the 8th of Next Month

[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it is recruiting candidates for the '2022 Return-to-Farming and Rural Settlement Support Project' to support the stable settlement of returnees to farming until the 8th of next month.

The applicable projects include the initial farming settlement support project for new returnees to farming, as well as ▲support for farmhouse repair costs ▲settlement incentive support for returnees with prior residence in Jangseong ▲excellent startup farmer cultivation project (supporting income expansion for returnees with farming experience) ▲and returnee startup activation support project.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the Return-to-Farming and Rural Settlement Support Center at the Jangseong Agricultural Technology Center in person by the 8th of next month.

The farming settlement support project is a program that supports initial farming facility installation costs, targeting farms that have moved to the county after residing in urban areas for more than one year and have completed business registration within five years of relocation.

The maximum support amount is 20 million KRW (50% self-payment).

The farmhouse repair cost support project provides reimbursement for actual expenses incurred when returnees repair farmhouses, with project funds supporting up to 5 million KRW (fully subsidized).

The eligibility is the same as for the farming settlement support project.

The settlement incentive support project for returnees with prior residence in Jangseong provides 5 million KRW for consumable agricultural material purchases if the applicant has lived in Jangseong for more than three years before returning to farming.

Agricultural workers within seven years of relocation can receive support.
