The goods are scheduled to be delivered to low-income recipients with 100% or less of the median income, as recommended by the Usan-dong Administrative Welfare Center.
This is not the first time Vice President Lee has performed such a good deed. On the 1st of last month, as the first donor participant at the launch ceremony of the Gwangju Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign, he pledged a donation of 100 million won and simultaneously joined as the 126th member of the Honor Society, contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing.
His family is also engaged in sharing activities. His father, Lee Hak-jae, Chairman of Aroma Life Co., Ltd., is the 33rd Honor member in Gwangju, and his mother, Lee Kwang-eun, CEO of Merci Life, is the 39th Honor member in Gwangju.
They are known as the 5th Gwangju Family Honor Society, actively contributing more than anyone else to the development of welfare in the Gwangju community and the spread of a culture of sharing.
