According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, due to the influence of a pressure trough moving southward from the north, heavy snow will fall mainly in Gwangju and western Jeonnam from early morning until noon on the 13th.
The expected snowfall amounts are 3 to 8 cm in Gwangju and western Jeonnam, and 1 to 5 cm in eastern Jeonnam.
In particular, the severe cold will continue until the 14th, making the perceived temperature even lower and the weather colder.
The morning low temperature on that day will range from -9 to -1 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high will be between 0 and 3 degrees Celsius.
