[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Kolon Group donated 700 million won to the Community Chest of Korea's 'Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign' on the 12th. This marks the 15th consecutive year since 2008.
The company designated part of this year's donation to the Urban Playground Improvement Project. This project is one of the campaigns conducted in collaboration with the international relief and development nonprofit organization Save the Children, aimed at renovating old and hazardous playgrounds by reflecting the opinions of local children and residents. Since 2016, Kolon has fully funded the improvement costs for one site each year. So far, six playgrounds have been newly established, including Doseon Children's Park in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and Saerok Children's Park in Eunpyeong-gu.
