Under the theme "Time to Meet Safety," the lecture was conducted intensively, covering the obligations to ensure safety and health, the roles of supervisors, and major cases related to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, which is scheduled to be enforced on the 27th.
Meanwhile, Yangcheon-gu also conducted the first round of training for all employees related to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act in December last year. The district plans to conduct a second round of training for all employees on the 20th, aiming to raise awareness of serious accident prevention and strengthen safety capabilities.
Seobinggo-dong in Yongsan-gu (District Chief Kim Seung-gyu) received a donation of 50 sacks of rice from the Naver Band club "Eoullim Chingudeul" at the end of last year.
On the 23rd of last month, 50 sacks of freshly milled rice were loaded onto a 1-ton truck and arrived at the underground parking lot of the Seobinggo-dong Community Service Center.
The Naver Band club "Eoullim Chingudeul" (President Seo Hye-ryeon) consists of about 380 friends born in 1963 nationwide. This group has been delivering warmth across the country through various donation activities such as briquette delivery volunteer work for over 10 years.
In 2021, President Seo Hye-ryeon decided to donate to neighbors in Seobinggo-dong, where she resides. On the 8th of this month, about 10 club members personally delivered rice to 21 households with mobility difficulties together with the staff of the Seobinggo-dong Community Service Center.
President Seo said, "I planned this sharing to cook warm rice with fresh rice for neighbors struggling due to COVID-19 during the year-end and New Year holidays."
The Seobinggo-dong Community Service Center arranged for 29 sacks of rice to be picked up by the notified recipients during the center’s operating hours.
