Samil Pharmaceutical "Ho Chi Minh Eye Drop Factory in Vietnam Scheduled for Completion in July This Year"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jung] Samil Pharmaceutical announced on the 11th that the eye drop manufacturing plant under construction in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is scheduled to be completed in July this year.
Currently, Samil Pharmaceutical is building an eye drop production plant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, covering an area of 21,314㎡, which is three times the size of a soccer field. This facility will have the capacity to produce 140 million disposable eye drops and 50 million multi-use eye drops annually.
Samil Pharmaceutical also plans to expand the unused land within the factory according to future global sales demand.
Samil Pharmaceutical aims to establish a large-scale eye drop production base in Vietnam to strengthen its global eye drop specialized contract manufacturing organization (CMO) and contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) businesses.
