Jangseong-gun Holds Major Work Plan Report Meeting... Discussion of 285 Agenda Items

[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do recently held the ‘2022 Major Military Administration Work Plan Report Meeting’ to discuss the overall military administration that will lead the county’s development in the new year.

According to the county on the 10th, this report meeting was conducted in the form of group work reports on a total of 285 agenda items that supplemented and improved the contents of the first report meeting held in December last year.

The agenda consists of 23 pledges, 55 key policies, 36 new policies, and 171 general issues.

The county plans to first focus on the complete recovery of daily life for residents and strengthening the ‘Safe Jangseong System.’

To this end, it will push forward ▲emergency support for daily life recovery funds for all residents (200,000 KRW per person) ▲Jangsan District comprehensive flood damage living area maintenance project (48.9 billion KRW) ▲Odongso Stream maintenance project (35 billion KRW) ▲1,000 KRW bus operation ▲customized job projects, and devote all efforts to economic recovery.

In addition to the development of the Advanced 3 District, it will accelerate projects such as ▲creation of Deokseong Happy Village in Nam-myeon ▲Digital Twin National Land Project ▲opening of Cheongun Underpass ▲new entrance and exit road for Jangseong Hi-Pass IC ▲Deokseong Happy Village creation project in Nam-myeon to create a new growth model for the urban-rural complex city.

It will also actively respond to changing tourism trends.

Centered on the Yellow City Stadium completed last year, it plans to open the golden age of the Hwangryonggang Renaissance by promoting ▲Hwangryonggang Provincial Garden ▲Hwangmir Land Theme Park ▲Yellow Art Center creation.

Through the Jangseongho Waterfront Hundred-ri Road and ▲Chukryeongsan Sky Forest Trail creation ▲establishment of basic plans for tourism resource development projects ▲Baekyangsa Temple repair and maintenance projects ▲Pilam Seowon Confucian Scholar Culture Globalization Promotion Project, it will renew the value of existing tourism resources.

Leading the establishment of the National Subtropical Crop Demonstration Center in Samgye-myeon, which will become the forefront of Korea’s future agriculture, it will accelerate the construction of a wealthy rural area through ▲creation of a golden healing agricultural product cultivation complex ▲establishment of the Jangseong Food Integrated Support Center foundation ▲operation of Gwangju local food direct sales stores ▲building a stable production base for crops in response to climate change.

Additionally, it will add hope and happiness to the local community through meticulous welfare such as ▲construction of senior citizen centers and family centers ▲filial piety rights (integrated beauty and bath rights) ▲customized health services, while promoting administration that all residents can empathize with and strengthening governance (public-private cooperation), the driving force of Jangseong’s development.
