Incheon Namdong-gu Supports Individual Companies Participating in Overseas Exhibitions with up to 5 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Namdong-gu, Incheon announced on the 10th that it will support the participation costs for overseas exhibitions (fairs) to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop overseas sales channels.
This project aims to support export activities such as discovering new buyers and developing overseas sales channels for SMEs, allowing companies to choose and participate in exhibitions that suit their industry or product characteristics.
The target applicants are manufacturing companies with headquarters or factories in Namdong-gu and export sales of less than 20 million USD in the previous year. Up to 5 million KRW per selected company will be supported for participation costs.
Applications can be submitted online through the Namdong-gu Enterprise Support website. The district plans to select a final 15 companies through its own screening in February.

Meanwhile, following last year, Namdong-gu will support not only traditional offline exhibitions but also online and hybrid exhibitions due to the diversification of exhibition formats in response to COVID-19 this year.
