At a press conference on the 10th, Chief Kim said, "The National Investigation Headquarters' directive is to investigate thoroughly without exceptions."
In this regard, a National Investigation Headquarters official from the police said, "We are focusing on the specific criminal facts of the suspect and the parts where damage compensation is possible." The official added, "The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency is leading the case, and more than 40 personnel, including dedicated staff from Gangseo Police Station and Seoul Police Agency, have been deployed," and explained, "If there are any shortcomings, the National Investigation Headquarters will manage and respond accordingly."
The case in which the Committee for the Protection of the Common People's Livelihoods filed a complaint with the National Investigation Headquarters against Ostem Implant Chairman Choi Kyu-ok and CEO Eom Tae-gwan on charges including embezzlement is expected to be assigned today.
Additionally, regarding the complaint filed by the Committee for the Protection of the Common People's Livelihoods against Ostem Implant Chairman Choi Kyu-ok and CEO Eom Tae-gwan with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on charges of embezzlement and violation of the Capital Markets Act, it was explained that "the assignment is scheduled to be made within today."
Regarding the investigation into the fire at the frozen warehouse construction site in Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province, where three firefighters died in the line of duty, Chief Kim said, "Once the joint inspection is conducted today, the investigation into the cause of the fire will proceed in earnest," and added, "We will investigate broadly and without exception all aspects including construction, building, and supervision." The case is currently under investigation by the Southern Gyeonggi Police Agency's investigation headquarters, and the National Investigation Headquarters has designated it as a case for focused command.

Meanwhile, concerning the 'Stick Murder' that occurred at a sports center in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, and the criticism that the on-site response was insufficient, Chief Kim said, "There is regret that if the situation had been examined more carefully as the bereaved family claims, it might have been better," but also noted, "It is true that there are limits to what police officers can do on-site." He continued, "We are in the process of verifying whether the on-site police officers' actions were appropriate," and added, "If necessary measures are identified, we will take them."
