Lee Yun-hee, the recipient from a large corporation and Manager at Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Technology, was selected for his contributions to strengthening the technological capabilities and domestic and international competitiveness of Korea's nuclear industry, as well as improving the safety of nuclear power plants, through system design and application program development for reactor protection equipment.

Kim Chan-sik, the recipient from a small and medium-sized enterprise and Director of Research at Pium Innovation, was recognized for his contribution to enhancing domestic building material technology by developing an open nanoporous inorganic coating with world-class performance in reducing indoor harmful substances, humidity control, antibacterial, and antifungal properties simultaneously.
