This is the industry's first insurance dedicated to liver and respiratory diseases, which are responsible for the body's purification function.
For liver diseases, coverage is provided according to severity, from acute hepatitis (types A, B, and C) and alcoholic cirrhosis including liver cirrhosis, to end-stage cirrhosis and liver cancer. Respiratory diseases cover the entire spectrum from pneumonia and emphysema to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung cancer. Additionally, a 3-3-3 simplified disclosure type that allows subscription even for those with pre-existing conditions has been added.
Subscription is available from ages 20 to 70, with maturity ages of 80, 90, and 100. For a 40-year-old male, the premium is about 40,000 KRW, and for a 50-year-old, about 50,000 KRW, providing coverage for diagnosis and treatment costs of liver and respiratory diseases up to age 90.
