Fire at Commercial-Residential Building in Mapo-gu, Seoul at Dawn... 1 Injured

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] A fire broke out on the third floor of a commercial-residential building in Sangsu-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and was extinguished within 50 minutes.
The fire, which occurred at around 1:39 a.m. on the 10th, injured a woman in her 20s living on the third floor while evacuating; she was transported to the hospital with a leg injury. Two other people inside the building evacuated on their own. Most of the house where the fire started was destroyed, causing an estimated property damage of about 7 million won according to the fire department.
The fire authorities deployed 53 personnel and 14 pieces of equipment and completely extinguished the fire at around 2:29 a.m.
