Hanjin Achieves Record High Sales of 2.5 Trillion Won Last Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] Hanjin announced on the 7th that its consolidated sales for last year reached a record high of 2.5033 trillion won, according to a preliminary management performance report. This represents a 13% increase compared to the previous year. Operating profit was recorded at 105.8 billion won, similar to last year's 105.9 billion won.
Hanjin stated that although profitability declined due to increased costs from a partial courier strike in the first half and improvements in courier workers' labor conditions, profitability recovered in the second half through cost reduction and increased investment, enhancing operational efficiency.
