Gijang-gun and Raon Robotics Sign Sales Contract for Southeast Radiation Medical and Science General Industrial Complex
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun signed a sales contract with Raon Robotics on the 5th for the Dongnam Radiation Medical and Science General Industrial Complex.
Raon Robotics, established in 2015 and based in Busan, is a specialized company in the field of robot automation.
Raon Robotics plans to build a factory for manufacturing industrial robots on a 3,334㎡ site within the Dongnam Industrial Complex to supply robot automation systems used in industrial fields.
With the sales contract, 21 out of 50 industrial facility lots in the first phase of the Dongnam Industrial Complex have been contracted, bringing the overall complex sales rate to 42%.
Oh Gyu-seok, the head of Gijang-gun, said, "By attracting companies related to the robotics field, we will focus all of Gijang-gun’s capabilities to make the Dongnam Industrial Complex a forward base that will create future growth industries for South Korea."
The Dongnam Industrial Complex is being developed by Gijang-gun on a 1.48 million㎡ site in the Jang-an-eup area, with a military budget investment of 321.1 billion KRW.
