Coupang Eats Provides KC Certified Helmets to Over 8,000 Delivery Partners
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Coupang Eats Service announced on the 6th that it will provide KC-certified helmets to over 8,000 delivery partners nationwide.
The recipients are delivery partners who completed a certain number of deliveries during the month of December. The helmets will be shipped sequentially starting from the 10th after collecting the delivery addresses from the eligible partners. The helmets also feature slogans such as pedestrian protection and compliance with traffic laws.
Earlier, in September last year, Coupang Eats Service offered benefits allowing delivery partners and store owners to receive comprehensive health checkups at up to 70% discount.
In November last year, they promoted the 'Traffic Safety Experience Education' conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, encouraging participation from delivery partners and directly employed staff called Its Chingu.

A Coupang Eats Service official stated, "Coupang Eats Service is making various efforts for the health and safety of delivery partners," adding, "We will continue to strengthen support for delivery partners who strive to satisfy customers."
