Hana Bank Suspends Sales of 'Ostem Implant Inclusion Fund'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank has suspended the sale of funds containing Ostem Implant shares following an employee embezzlement incident involving 188 billion KRW at Ostem Implant.
On the 5th, Hana Bank sent notification messages to customers subscribed to 77 funds, including the 'Samsung KOSDAQ 150 1.5x Leverage Securities (Stock-Derivative) CE Fund,' that held even a single share of Ostem Implant in their investment assets, informing them of the suspension of sales.
The notice included the proportion of Ostem Implant holdings in each fund along with a message stating, "As a post-management measure, new subscriptions to the relevant funds will be suspended."
