Shilla Stay Collaborates with Samsung Electronics... 'My Own Cinema' Experience Promotion
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Shilla Stay announced on the 5th that it will collaborate with Samsung Electronics to conduct the 'The Freestyle To Go' promotion. This offers a unique hotel stay experience where guests can enjoy various content such as movies and dramas on a screen up to 254cm (100 inches) in hotel rooms.
Through the 'The Freestyle To Go' promotion, Samsung Electronics unveiled the newly released all-around player 'The Freestyle' for the first time in Korea. It is available exclusively to customers who apply in advance or use the package. Customers who wish to experience it can apply for the 'Freestyle To Go' promotion experience on the official website when booking a Shilla Stay room or package.
The device can be picked up from 3 PM to 8 PM, the check-in time, and during the usage period, guests can project the screen onto the room walls, ceiling, etc., to watch TV or various OTT content. An SNS event for participating customers will also be held. By uploading a certification shot of experiencing Samsung Electronics' 'The Freestyle' on personal SNS with the required hashtags, 500 people will be selected by lottery to receive a 'Shilla Stay × The Freestyle Limited Edition Keyring.'
The promotion runs until the end of March at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun, Mapo, Seocho, and Samsung, with experience applications closing on a first-come, first-served basis for each hotel.
A dedicated package is also prepared. The 'The Freestyle Cinema' package allows guests to experience a concept room decorated as 'My Own Movie Theater' along with a hotel stay. Guests can use Samsung The Freestyle in a space newly renovated as a 'Private Cinema' in the hotel's business meeting room.

The package includes one night’s stay, a ticket to use the 'Private Cinema' concept room (from 5 PM to 10 PM on the check-in day or from 10 AM to 2 PM the following day), minibar use within the concept room, one Shilla Stay signature bear, and one CGV popcorn. It is available at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun until the end of March.
