Ministry of SMEs and Startups to Operate K-Startup Pavilion at CES 2022 with 30 Domestic Companies Participating
Linkface, Eva, and 4 Other Companies Selected for CES Innovation Awards
Support Provided for Investment Consultations and Buyer Meetings Beyond Exhibition Space
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 5th that it will operate the 'K-Startup (KSTARTUP) Pavilion' at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 until the 7th.
CES, the world's largest consumer electronics exhibition, will be held offline this year, unlike last year when it was held entirely online due to the impact of COVID-19.
The Eureka Park, where the K-Startup (KSTARTUP) Pavilion is set up, is an exclusive pavilion for startup companies selected based on the host (CTA)'s approval criteria such as new product and service launches, number of CES participations, and possession of own brands.
There are 30 startup companies exhibiting products and promotional videos at this K-Startup Pavilion. Visitors including buyers and investors can freely visit the K-Startup Pavilion to experience the companies' innovative technologies and products and even conduct investment consultations.
In particular, among the 30 participating companies, six companies including Linkface, Eva, AI4Pet, TacTracer, HipotianC, and LuxLab were selected for the 'CES Innovation Awards,' which are given to technologies and products with outstanding innovation.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups plans to support the 30 startup companies not only with exhibition space within the K-Startup Pavilion but also with consultation meetings for investment attraction and buyer meetings to ensure that participation in CES leads to tangible results for the companies.
