Experimenting with Innovative Services Using Metaverse... Expanding to Commerce Platform
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mesh Korea (CEO Yoo Jung-beom), operator of 'Boorung', announced on the 5th that it will utilize a metaverse platform in the process of building a next-generation digital distribution logistics platform.
Mesh Korea has joined as a member company of the 'Metaverse Alliance' supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT (hereinafter referred to as MSIT) and decided to participate in a project to derive metaverse task strategies. Mesh Korea plans to experiment with innovative distribution logistics services and IT solutions within the metaverse platform, which is gaining attention as the next-generation platform following the internet and mobile, and also apply it as a promotional and marketing channel targeting various client companies and general consumers.
Starting this year, Mesh Korea plans to seek business expansion opportunities in the 4th industrial revolution fields such as metaverse, robotics, and blockchain based on data accumulated over the past decade of business development in the distribution logistics industry. By implementing 'Boorung World' within the metaverse, it aims to visually showcase Boorung's digital distribution logistics platform to approximately 350 corporate clients and 66,000 self-employed customers and potential customers, creating a space where services can be experienced, and to nurture it as the foundation of the 'Boorung Economy.'
