Hanssem Appoints Kim Jintae, President of GeoYoung Group, as Chief Executive Officer
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Hanssem announced on the 4th that it held a board meeting and appointed Kim Jin-tae (53), General President of the pharmaceutical distribution company Gioyoung Group, as the Chief Executive Officer.
The executive officer system is a system that independently organizes executives who are exclusively responsible for business execution, separate from the board of directors which performs supervisory functions. The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Kim previously served as Managing Director at Hyundai Card and Capital, Vice President at ADT Caps, and Vice President at Tmon, and has been serving as General President of Gioyoung Group since 2018.
Hanssem stated, "CEO Kim is a professional manager who has created change and achievements in various industries such as distribution, finance, and information technology (IT), as well as in various areas including strategy, finance, operations, and marketing," and added, "Through business model innovation, he will lead Hanssem’s greater leap forward by solidifying its overwhelming No. 1 position in the home interior sector."
