SRT operator SR is embarking on reform and innovation to make 2022 a year of overcoming the COVID-19 crisis and restoring a profitable structure.
On the 4th, SR CEO Lee Jong-guk stated in his New Year's address, "We must overcome the management crisis caused by COVID-19 and restore the profitable structure that we maintained for three years from 2017, making this a year of significant advancement," adding, "With the spirit of ‘Jeguposin (除舊布新)’?discarding the old and embracing the new?we will not settle for the existing framework."
As key business goals for this year, CEO Lee presented △ securing ‘absolute safety,’ which is the foundation for providing the best customer service △ improving a sound financial structure by securing future growth engines △ strengthening a culture of respect among organizational members to establish a culture of communication and participation. He also said, "At this time, when a healthy sense of crisis is needed without excessive worry or optimism, let us innovate for survival."
In particular, CEO Lee emphasized, "We must build the capability to face the future with the sense of mission that ‘Now is the complete SR,’ and achieve bold changes in the old culture shadowing the organization, that is, visible innovation," adding, "I hope everyone recognizes the urgency that our survival depends on this."
