SC Jeil Bank Holds 'Wealth Care Seminar' for Asset Management Clients
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] SC First Bank announced on the 3rd that it will hold the '2022 First Half Wealth Care Seminar' for its wealth management (WM) customers.
The seminar will be held twice on the 18th via live streaming. WM experts from the parent company, Standard Chartered (SC) Group, will also attend. The seminar will cover market outlooks, products, and investment strategies for the first half of the year.
In Part 1, Park Soon-hyun, Head of Investment Strategy and Products at SC First Bank, along with investment experts, will review the current financial market and present asset allocation and suitable investment product selection strategies for the year. They will emphasize that while monetary policy and financial market 'normalization' continue in the first half of this year, volatility may increase somewhat due to various factors. They will also explain the importance of continuing investment with a focus on global asset allocation strategies.
In Part 2, SC Group investment strategy experts will hold a panel discussion titled 'Thinking about China' together with China experts. Attendees include Mark van der Wolde, Global Head of Asset Management at SC Group; Becky Liu, Head of China Investment Strategy at SC Group; Kishore Mahbubani, Dean of the National University of Singapore; and Pan Gang, Professor at Peking University. The topics will cover China's market changes, from global supply chain issues to big tech regulations and common prosperity, and the resulting shifts in global business overall.
