6 Sectors, 14 Project Budgets Totaling 900 Million KRW, Applications Open Until the 20th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A pilot project to introduce new technology to agriculture in the Ulsan area will be launched in earnest in the new year.
The Ulsan Agricultural Technology Center announced on the 2nd that it will undertake the '2022 New Agricultural Technology Dissemination Pilot Project.'
The 'New Technology Dissemination Pilot Project' is planned with a total budget of 925 million KRW, consisting of 14 projects across 6 fields.
The detailed projects by field are ▲ Rural Resources field: 1 project for crop-specific customized safety management pilot ▲ Crop Environment field: 1 project for labor-saving sparse rice transplanting cultivation complex pilot ▲ Horticultural Vegetables field: 4 projects including the dissemination of functional heat-shielding nets responding to climate change ▲ Livestock field: 3 projects including total intelligent farm technology pilot linked with biometric environment management ▲ Fruit Technology field: 3 projects including stable production of golden pears using eco-friendly pest control pilot ▲ Urban Horticulture field: 2 projects including technology pilot for creating green schools and green offices using plants.

The Agricultural Technology Center will accept applications from farms and organizations for each pilot project until the 20th, and after review by the Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Deliberation Committee composed of the Agricultural Technology Center and external agricultural experts, the final candidates will be selected by mid-February.
