[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 29th that it will conduct the '2022 Small Business Online Sales Channel Support Project Integrated Announcement' and will recruit implementing agencies for each detailed project and small business owners wishing to participate starting from January next year.
The 2022 Small Business Online Sales Channel Support Project is planned to be supported with a budget of 90.5 billion KRW, which is about 25% more than in 2021, and the project will be advanced by about two months compared to this year to quickly support small business owners' online and digital transformation in the COVID-19 era.
Looking at the main contents and improvements of next year's Small Business Online Sales Channel Support Project, first, the capacity of small business owners will be strengthened through education, consulting provision, and support for promotional content production. Plans include operating e-learning education, expanding specialized training courses, product improvement consulting, content production support, and expert assistance.
Support for entry into private channels will also expand from 23,000 companies this year to 25,500 companies next year. Live commerce support will be provided to 1,500 companies, and delivery fees will be supported for 10,000 companies. Infrastructure will also be supported through subscription economy operation support for small business owners and infrastructure establishment for their online entry.
