View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Port Industry Federation signed a mutual cooperation agreement with Yeongsan University on the 22nd and presented a plaque of appreciation to the university.
The signing ceremony was attended by Chairman Kim Young-deuk and officials, as well as Yeongsan University President Bu Gu-wook and faculty members.
The federation presented the plaque of appreciation in gratitude for Yeongsan University’s contribution to industry-academia development by training and producing specialized personnel for port-related industries at member companies under the federation.
The mutual cooperation agreement includes collaboration in six areas to foster creative and productive specialized personnel for port-related industries: ▲expanding human exchange ▲student field training and employment ▲operating customized industry-academia cooperation programs ▲inviting to various seminars, workshops, and research presentations.
Kim Young-deuk, Chairman of the Busan Port Industry Federation, said, “Industry-academia cooperation is expected to activate the training and dissemination of specialized personnel for port-related industries.”

Bu Gu-wook, President of Yeongsan University, said, “A foundation has been established for internships and employment to expand student job opportunities, and we will further accelerate the training of specialized personnel.”
