20s Arrested for Drawing Weapon and Attacking Secondhand Trade Partner
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 20s who called out a counterpart from a secondhand goods transaction and wielded a weapon was arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 18th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. A (27) at the scene around 7 p.m. the previous day at Dangsan Station of the Seoul subway and is currently investigating him.
Mr. A is accused of attempted murder for calling out Mr. B (31), a transaction counterpart he met on an online secondhand trading site, and stabbing Mr. B multiple times in the face and other areas with a weapon he had prepared in advance.
Mr. B was seriously injured and transferred to a hospital, but it was confirmed that his life is not in danger. Mr. A was subdued by a police officer who witnessed the scene while off duty.
During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated that he "(was) defrauded by Mr. B."

The police applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A on the afternoon of the same day.
