No Brand Burger Launches Self-Developed Cola and Cider
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Shinsegae Food announced on the 14th that its No Brand Burger has launched self-developed ‘Brand Cola’ and ‘Brand Cider’.
The packaging of Brand Cola and Cider combines red and green colors symbolizing each beverage with white as an accent, adding pop art elements throughout to create a simple yet stylish feel. Especially, at the center of the package, a yellow logo shaped like the letter ‘B’ was placed as a point, meaning “a brand that can only be enjoyed at No Brand Burger.” The surface of the package uses a smooth and glossy material to visually emphasize that it is a refreshing carbonated drink.
Shinsegae Food expects it to be particularly popular among the MZ generation funshumers (Fun+Consumer) who pursue both consumption and enjoyment.
To commemorate this launch, Shinsegae Food will unveil a graffiti wall painted with Brand Cola and Brand Cider in various color combinations of pop art at No Brand Burger Seoul City Hall branch located in Jung-gu, Seoul. Also, until the 31st, an event will be held to give away pop art stickers. Song Hyunseok, CEO of Shinsegae Food, plans to promote the products by personally handing them out wearing specially made Cola Man and Cider Man costumes in front of No Brand Burger Seoul City Hall branch on the day.
A Shinsegae Food official said, “Amid rapidly and diversely changing consumption trends, we developed Brand Cola and Brand Cider out of concern about why everyone drinks the same cola and cider products,” adding, “We will break consumers’ fixed ideas about cola and cider while utilizing unique brand elements that can only be experienced at No Brand Burger to further increase favorability.”
