View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Mart announced on the 8th that it will conduct pre-order sales of Lunar New Year gift sets at all stores from the 9th of this month until the 19th of next month.
This pre-order sale starts four days earlier than last year's Lunar New Year. This is because pre-order sales revenue is increasing. According to Lotte Mart, the proportion of pre-order sales for Lunar New Year gift sets, which was 39.7% in 2019, has increased to 51.9% this year. In particular, as the non-face-to-face culture has taken root due to COVID-19, demand has increased for services that deliver gifts purchased in advance on designated dates.
During the pre-order period, Lotte Mart offers up to a 30% discount compared to the regular price to customers who purchase gift sets using L.Point membership and promotional cards. Free delivery is provided for purchases over 30,000 KRW, and gift certificates worth up to 1,500,000 KRW are given according to the purchase amount when using specific cards. The same benefits are available not only at offline stores but also on Lotte ON.
