[2021 Capital Investment Awards] 15 Years Running... Financial Investment Firms Play a Key Role in Boosting Morale
Mirae Asset Securities received the grand prize at the '2021 Asia Capital Investment Awards.'
Now in its 15th year, the Asia Capital Investment Awards were established to boost the morale of financial investment companies that serve as a driving force for corporate growth through fostering a healthy capital market and provide individuals with opportunities for asset growth.
Mirae Asset Securities, awarded the Financial Services Commission Chairman's Award, was the first in the industry to surpass 10 trillion KRW in equity capital and 1 trillion KRW in operating profit. This year, it recorded a cumulative operating profit of 1.2506 trillion KRW in just the first three quarters, becoming the first securities company to exceed 1 trillion KRW in operating profit for two consecutive years. Its overseas stock services and pension management system are also evaluated as the best in the industry.
Excellence awards in each category were given to NH Investment & Securities (IB), Samsung Securities (WM), KB Securities (Research), and Korea Investment & Securities (Financial Consumer Protection). The best award in the retirement pension category was jointly awarded to Daishin Securities and Shinhan Financial Investment, and the product of the year award went to Hana Financial Investment's Gift Wrap product. The Best Fund Award was given to Mirae Asset Global Investments, and the Best Asset Managers were Samsung Asset Management (Equity Management), Korea Investment Management (ETF), and KB Asset Management (TDF).
