View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] Political commentator Kim Yongmin, formerly of 'Naneun Ggomsooda,' revealed the 'ranking of social network service (SNS) activities of Democratic Party members that help Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate.' In response, Representative Park Yongjin criticized, saying, "This doesn't seem right." Kim retorted, "You enjoy all the benefits of the Democratic Party banner but refuse your duties? Then resign from the party."
On the 2nd, Representative Park posted on Facebook, "Kim Yongmin, this doesn't seem right," and pointed out, "This attempt could unintentionally bring difficulties to the victory of the candidate and the Democratic Party."
He said, "Even without SNS, lawmakers are dedicating themselves to the victory of the candidate and the party in various ways," adding, "Such actions will empower Kim Yongmin himself, lead to baseless criticism of Democratic Party lawmakers, and cause division within the party. Ultimately, this will be a significant burden to the candidate."
He continued, "If Kim Yongmin insists that this is a citizen's right and plans to continue, I politely request to be excluded from such evaluations in the future," and "If you want the candidate's victory, I urge you not to engage in such activities going forward."
Kim immediately posted a response on Facebook. Targeting Representative Park, Kim said, "Let's do politics that is loved by party members. Instead of posts like this, promote one of the candidate's small but certain happiness (So-hwak-haeng) pledges."
In another post, Kim argued, "Checking the sincerity and proactiveness of Democratic Party lawmakers' SNS activities is a legitimate oversight activity," and said, "Why wouldn't this help the candidate? I don't understand. Are you saying we shouldn't upset Democratic Party lawmakers? You enjoy all the benefits of the Democratic Party banner but refuse your duties? Then you should resign from the party."
