On the 2nd, a post titled "My younger brother was diagnosed with leukemia after receiving the vaccine at the tender age of 20" was uploaded on the Blue House National Petition Board.
The petitioner, who identified themselves as a 22-year-old university student, stated, "My 20-year-old younger brother received the Pfizer vaccine and was diagnosed with acute leukemia," adding, "Before vaccination, on March 9th, he underwent a physical examination and blood test to join the military and was given the healthiest Grade 1 rating. He had never been seriously ill in his life and was truly a healthy person."

According to the post, the petitioner's brother received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on September 7th. Afterwards, bruises appeared and disappeared repeatedly all over his body, but he thought it was one of the possible vaccine side effects and did not pay much attention, receiving the second dose on October 12th.
About a month later, on the 22nd of last month, he enlisted in the military, but bruises spread to his hands, and he was unable to exert strength in his arms and hands. After drawing blood for testing, he was diagnosed with acute leukemia.
The petitioner lamented, "My brother had no pain at the time after vaccination and did not complain of stomach discomfort or abdominal pain like others. Now, the bruises do not disappear, and his fingers are bruised, trembling so much that he cannot hold anything."
They continued, "The university hospital in Seoul, famous for leukemia treatment, is already full, so he is waiting for an uncertain vacancy while repeatedly eating and sleeping in the emergency room," expressing, "It is very hard to see my sick brother, and I feel so sorry and unfair that this happened."
They also pointed out, "The circumstances clearly show a causal relationship to anyone, but hospitals uniformly say there is no causal relationship," adding, "The current system, where even doctors cannot identify a 'direct causal relationship' and the victim, an ordinary person, must prove it for compensation, is quite unrealistic."
