The Fair Recruitment Excellence Institution Certification is awarded by the Korea Management Certification Institute through an evaluation process. It targets public institutions and companies that conduct fair recruitment by excluding biased factors and focusing on job competency.
Since its establishment, the corporation has introduced and operated guidelines for fair recruitment, clearly stipulating from the recruitment announcement stage that strict measures will be taken against fraudulent successful candidates, and that not only direct perpetrators but also intermediaries or instigators involved in recruitment solicitation will be subject to punishment.
In addition, the corporation places the highest importance on hiring employees through recruitment agencies and blind recruitment to ensure fairness. In particular, it strictly adheres to blind recruitment that excludes physical conditions, place of origin, family relationships, educational background, and other factors that may cause bias in advance.
Along with this, it has established anti-corruption measures and post-verification systems to secure fairness and transparency.
To block interference in the recruitment process by relatives, a mutual exclusion and avoidance system is mandatory when interviewers and candidates are relatives, and every year, new hires are checked for family relationships and any corruption.
Since being relatives does not necessarily imply corruption, the fact of kinship itself is recorded, and a practical system is operated to prevent and monitor possible corruption through continuous post-management.
As a result of all these efforts, the corporation achieved high scores in nine evaluations across three categories?recruitment system, operation, and performance?and various detailed items, leading to its selection as a Fair Recruitment Excellence Institution in 2021.
