NongHyup Bank Obtains BM Patent for 'RPA-Based Mobile App Inspection Device and Method'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NongHyup Bank announced on the 28th that it has obtained a BM patent for the 'RPA-based Mobile App Inspection Device and Method,' which implements a fault detection system for non-face-to-face financial services using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology.
By utilizing the 'RPA-based Mobile App Inspection Device and Method,' an RPA bot inspects mobile services 24/7, 365 days a year, exactly as customers use the app, and automatically notifies IT staff immediately upon detecting any abnormalities, enabling prompt response.
Since July last year, NongHyup Bank has been applying this to various non-face-to-face channels such as NH Smart Banking and All One Bank, striving to stabilize services.
In particular, this technology was developed internally by NH NongHyup Bank's IT personnel and technology without outsourcing development, which is regarded by the related industry as a step forward in upgrading NH NongHyup Bank's digital capabilities.
